Our Tier 1 Mining Client are searching for multiple experienced and talented Planner / Scheduler for an initial 12 - month contract.
Work Location: Perth CPD, with regular site trips.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
This role will report to the Superintendent Project Controls and provide planning/scheduling support selected delivery teams across multiple projects, of all sorts of nature. The Planner/Schedule will be expected to effectively interact with internal and external clients at a project level and form relationships with those they support.
The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for tracking the team’s master schedule that includes project delivery schedule as well as supporting commercial and cost control.

This role will report to the Superintendent Project Controls and provide planning/scheduling support selected delivery teams across multiple projects, of all sorts of nature. The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for tracking the team’s master schedule that includes project delivery schedule as well as supporting commercial and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the occupational health and safety of themselves and other team members, ensuring that systems and processes are undertaken to demonstrate the care of themselves and others.
- Carry out the functional duties necessary for the daily implementation of project scheduling functions across regional programs of projects. This will include schedule management, schedule change management, schedule contingency management, schedule risk management, forecast schedule estimates, schedule progress stat using, schedule contract administration (including extensions of time and delay claims) and reporting.
- Assisting the Superintendent Project Controls and Project Lead/Manager in managing the gating, prioritizing, and executing of work timeframes, technically and contractually.
- Be proactive and bold to raise areas of concern to the Superintendent Project Controls and Project Lead/Manager to avoid surprises.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a master schedule of all projects in the assigned Delivery portfolio of sustaining projects.
- Report on assigned Delivery portfolio and individual project progress.
- Ensure compliance to the planning and scheduling guideline by the project owners.
- Assists with the creation, maintenance and reporting on the project/s plan and schedule.
- Participates in project schedule review meetings and update schedules.
- Assists in maintaining the integrity of integrated project schedules.
- Supports development of regular schedule reports, including proper professional analysis
Qualifications and skills required:
- Relevant site construction experience, certification, diploma, or degree acceptable to a recognized and relevant professional body.
- Professional certification or planned pathway to professional certification with a relevant professional
- Proficient in Primavera P6 project management and scheduling software
- 5+ years of experience in project controls delivery.5+ years of overall professional experience.
