Project Planner / Scheduler

Our client is a global manufacturer of Speciality Chemicals and Polymers and due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Project Planner. As Project Planner you will join an existing team to develop and deliver engineering projects to the highest standards, meeting demanding HSE, schedule, cost and technical performance targets..
 
Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain effective plans across the full project lifecycle for a portfolio of projects.
• Plan start in concept, through design and to construction, to support on time and effective completion of all project activities
• Lead the development of high level project plans at early concept phases and for management support
• Develop and maintain detailed, resource loaded project plans to support the delivery phases of projects through design, procurement, construction & commissioning
• Provide progress reports, S curves, schedule variance, and schedule performance information
• Ensure project construction work is scheduled and coordinated into the asset work plan
• Support Development of the project planning systems and procedures

 
Experience & Qualifications

• Hold a HND qualification in an engineering discipline
• Hold a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of the project lifecycle
• Good understanding of Primavera P6 is essential
• Understanding of other planning tools / software such as NetPoint, Maximo preferable
