NES Fircroft are working with a Global Energy company who are looking to bring on board a Project Sustainability Manager on an initial 6 month contract.

Project Sustainability Manager
Location
Hybrid- 2/3 days a month onsite at either Peterhead or Drax (Expenses covered)
Role Objectives
Document, communicate and coordinate sustainability requirements in HVDC tendering in accordance with HVDS' sustainability framework during tender process. Ensure visibility and alignment with HVDC sustainability framework in customers communication and tendering process.
When tender move over to execution phase the Tender & Project sustainability manager continues the work as Sustainability manager in execution phase and have overall responsibility to coordinate sustainability requirements in contract and to ensure regulatory compliance as well as reporting.

Coordinate and lead the sustainability requirements during tender process.
- Understand and communicate project specific requirements on sustainability to secure customers requirements can be met and for continuous improvement.
- Secure sustainability visibility towards customers in tendering process
- Coordination with the project team and sustainability team, including Sustainability Lead, Project Directors, Engineers, Supply Chain Management, is necessary. In addition, Sustainability is a cross-functional topic requiring coordination and alignment internally across the HVDC organization.
- Ensure that legal requirements on Sustainability affecting the project execution are considered.
- Ensure effectiveness and integrity of the Sustainability management Plan in achieving conformance with the requirements of the agreement.
- Overseeing the implementation of the Sustainability management Plan, including monitoring, maintaining and updating it for the period that the Contractor is performing the Work.
- Accountable for coordinating the required information for audits.
- Assess and perform Sustainability inductions, trainings etc.
- Monitor, analyse and take actions on Sustainability KPI’s in the projects that deviates from defined targets.
- Secure that KPIs and audits are followed up on regular basis to secure actual implementation of reporting and contractual promises.
