Type of Project: Multi projects: Oil & Gas Offshore (Greenfield & Brownfield)
NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Piping Stress Engineer to work on one of their key LNG projects based in Paris.
The position will operate on a contract basis for an initial 3-4 months renewable with excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develops. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

- will work under the supervision of the project manager
- will be the leader of the discipline for the project
- will define the arrangement of the installation layout
- will coordinate the 3D Modelling and organise 3D Model reviews
- will supervise the Engineer in charge of the handling philosophy
- will supervise the Piping Stress studies
- will supervise the Materials selection
- will organise the Vessel calculation studies and check the Data sheets
- will prepare documentation related with the project scope
- Safety for Escape route design
- Requirements:
- Experience as a Lead in O&G projects:10 years minimum
- Fluent English - Good written and verbal communication
- Standards: Applicable regulations, codes of practice, international standards and TOTAL GS
- 3D Model: 3D modelling follow-up and 3D Model supervision with PDMS & Navisworks
- Will be charge of:
- Project planning and progress follow-up
- Organisation of the meetings with client and internal
- Interactions with client and the project management
- Mechanical for Handling
- E&I for Cable routing
- Structural for supporting.
