QAQC Manager

NES Fircroft are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Manager for a major LNG project based in the UAE. This role will be based in La Défense, France, with the possibility of relocation to the UAE in the future. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS):
   • Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Regularly review and update quality policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Project Planning and Execution:
   • Collaborate with project managers to integrate quality management into project planning and execution.
   • Ensure quality objectives are clearly defined and communicated to all stakeholders.
3. Inspection and Testing:
   • Oversee inspections, testing, and audits to identify and address defects.
   • Implement preventative measures to minimize future quality issues.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
   • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Supplier and Contractor Management:
   • Evaluate and approve suppliers and contractors based on their quality performance.
   • Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers and contractors.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
   • Implement corrective and preventative actions to resolve quality issues.
7. Training and Development:
   • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality management practices.
   • Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
8. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, codes, and regulations.
   • Identify and mitigate quality-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications/ Experience required:

• Experience: Extensive experience in quality management, preferably on a major LNG project. 
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, ASQ, PMP, or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
