About the Company:

Our client, a well-known manufacturer of specialty chemicals based on the North Shore, is currently searching for a QC Laboratory Technician to work on a permanent basis.

About the role:

Reporting to the Laboratory and Technology Manager, this role is essential for our client's day-to-day manufacturing. The successful candidate will be conducting routine QC physical tests on a range of their products prior to release for sale.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Conducting routine QC testing
  • Enter and maintain accurate records of all tested products
  • Provide support to the production team to achieve daily targets
  • Daily sample preparation
  • Maintain the retained sample area and its register
  • General housekeeping duties
Requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in routine physical and chemical testing (highly regarded)
  • Ability to interpret and deliver results
  • Task orientated, with excellent time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills to liaise with different departments within the company

This is a full-time permanent position with full training provided. The role is based on the north shore/northern beaches with parking on site. Career growth with significant opportunities to grow within the business.
