Our client, a global Oil and Gas Operator, is currently seeking a Remediation Specialist for a 2-year contract with the opportunity to extend. This will be a Perth based position, occasional travel to site may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Coordination of a Gorgon, Wheatstone and other ABU Site assessment and remediation projects as it relate to PFAS.
•Support to the BWI and TVI Decommissioning Projects as required.
•Implementation of remedial action, licensing and all other regulatory documentation as they relate to Site Assessment and Remediation projects
•Clear understanding of legislation relating to PFAS NEMP and other related guidance and regulations
•Project budget and cost control over multiple complex projects
•Liaison with regulators and internal stakeholders as required

Key Skills & Experience:
•Degree in Environmental Science or similar with minimum 8 years’ experience
•Demonstrated ability to submerge in a new project, quickly and accurately prepare recommendations, and drive decisions on the most efficient and cost effective path forward
•Knowledge and practical application of contaminated site assessment and remediation approach and technology.
•Subject matter expert on hydrocarbon, PFAS/PFOA and metals contamination
•Solid Stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
•Demonstrated leadership and planning skills to meet work schedules and tight deadlines
•Wiliness to support operations from the field as need requires.
•Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business result.
