Purpose of Role:
  Our client, an oil and gas operator, requires a Safety Co-ordinator to join the team on a contract basis.
Role is needed to ensure robust and systematic / sustained SSU performance reporting, regulatory compliance and assurance management of key processes.
  SSU* Critical Responsibilities: Outline the Critical responsibilities of the role
  • Synergi user with analytical capability
  • Application of HSE working knowledge
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level: Detail the key accountabilities and desired output of the role, highlighting scope and breadth of role
  • Provide administrative support to the wider SSU team as required.
  • Support reporting and investigation of incidents through the Synergi tool
  • SSU Focal point for all Office Safety related matters (Accidents, injuries etc)
  • Tracking of corrective and improvement actions to closure within a reasonable timescale
  • Escalating issues to relevant parties as necessary
  • Generating reports as necessary to support business requirements
  • Updating the monthly incident stats and input into partner reporting
  • Supporting with the company mental health improvement plan
  Department admin as required for the following:
  • Support organisation of meetings - book meeting rooms and share invites,
  • Support Quarterly safety wheel themes roll out
  • Support creation of Safety alerts and notices
  • Manage closure of actions in Ambition to Action
  • Complete Service Requisition requests and PO support
  • ARIS Management system and associated documentation updates.
  • Update relevant media with SSU data

Additional for consideration:  Entry level – someone who has or is willing to attain NEBOSH General Certificate. 2-5 Yrs experience minimum
