Safety Coach

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Safety Coach who can help us succeed. 

2/2 rotation, start date 01.05.2023 - end date 30.09.2023


What will you be doing?

• Facilitate safe execution of all activities, recommending and proactively coaching and advising matters of safety and training and increase the safety and risk awareness of all personnel involved in offshore operations. 
• Look after that the work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, company safety management system and the project HSSE program 
• Important link between the offshore and onshore organization. 
• Perform and monitor HSSE Inspections and meetings, facilitate weekly safety meetings, reporting and follow-up of incidents and facilitate completion of daily safety reports to be sent to company`s onshore organization 
• Inspect the worksite for safe practices and good housekeeping and coach as appropriate. 
• At the end of the 14-day work period; submit handover report with performance and recommendations in terms of the HSE aspect

We think you should have some of the following:

• Trade certificate or technical college, but long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience from HSSE 
• Operational HSSE work experience 
• Proactive and self going attitude 
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
• Offshore course and health certificate is required
