Safety Engineer - Working Environment

Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions is looking for a Safety Engineer - Working Environment who have experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim, but the position can be done remotely.
 
Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver a conducive working environment.
• Ensuring adherence to Working Environment requirements by closely monitoring relevant vendor packages.
• Maintaining communication with customers, vendors, and conducting bi-weekly meetings when necessary.
• Planning and participating in working environment reviews such as WEHRA and other relevant reviews.
• Creating and updating Working Environment reports and related documents in STID, WEAC, etc.

 
Skills and Levels Description:

• In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations, specifically NORSOK S-0032 and TR0926.
• Demonstrated experience in modification projects, preferably in the EPCI phase.
• Experience in conducting relevant working environment reviews.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
• Proactive and skilled in communication, cooperation, and capable of work independently.
