Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 15,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
Aker Solutions is looking for a Safety Engineer - Working Environment who have experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim, but the position can be done remotely.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a conducive working environment.
  • Ensuring adherence to Working Environment requirements by closely monitoring relevant vendor packages.
  • Maintaining communication with customers, vendors, and conducting bi-weekly meetings when necessary.
  • Planning and participating in working environment reviews such as WEHRA and other relevant reviews.
  • Creating and updating Working Environment reports and related documents in STID, WEAC, etc.
 
Skills and Levels Description:
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations, specifically NORSOK S-0032 and TR0926.
  • Demonstrated experience in modification projects, preferably in the EPCI phase.
  • Experience in conducting relevant working environment reviews.
  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Proactive and skilled in communication, cooperation, and capable of work independently.
