Safety Manager
Safety Manager Required Certifications: (NCS, CRSP, etc.) National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or equivalent
Total hours per week: 16 hours/week, or two full days/week
Contract Duration: 2 years
Location: Niagara area
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the PC contractor is aligned with the Energy Storage and Facility – Engineering, Procurement and Construction Agreement
• Site Safety Walks on a weekly visit with PC.
• Attend PC weekly safety meetings (online or in person), or review minutes.
• Review of PC information:
o Site Specific Safety plans submitted by the PC
o ERP submitted by the contractor
o Review training program and records from the PC
o Monthly stats (leading and Lagging indicators) – completing spreadsheet
o Incident investigation reports when applicable.
o PC safety concerns from inspections and/or incidents
• PC safety personnel updates and qualifications
• Manage PPE inventory for team
