As a Sales and Tendering Engineer, you will be responsible for sales and tendering of the entire product and services for transformers in the UK. You will also support the Transformer Product Market Manager in implementing the sales and marketing strategy and oversee allocated sales and tenderting activities to drive sales and increase market share. Being involved in the market analyses with the Transformer Sales team, responsible for forecasts and detailed business/marketing plans for allocated areas of the portfolio.

- Visiting potential clients to secure business, agreeing on the scope of works, preparing costings, and ensuring continual updates of the company's sales and marketing tools with visit reports and opportunities
- Interfacing with the Market Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Tendering, Operations and our technical support teams to ensure it fits within the business capabilities and maximise opportunities to better clients’ expectations
- Supporting the Transformer Product Market Manager in the implementation of the Sales and Marketing strategy
- Being part of the team to drive Transformer Business on the market through sales and tendering
- Implementing the local product marketing strategy by visiting potential clients to present offering, agreeing client requirements, product value propositions and product positioning and tendering of defined scope.

- Experience and knowledge within the Sales and Tendering industries
- Passion for sales in a technical setting, with knowledge and experience of sales and marketing tools such as SalesForce/digital marketing tools – LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with good communication and customer-relationship-building skills
- Experience prospecting, developing and closing deals with customers, and visiting them onsite.
