Job Title: Sales Manager
Purpose: To identify, develop and secure the sales of technician, generator, CTV and depot business or related
offshore wind contracts, charters, or consultancy within the key market of Offshore Renewables. Key to
success will be the individual’s ability to build, develop and manage effective client relationships to grow the
sales pipeline, thoroughly qualify opportunities, and manage communication & information flows regarding
sales opportunities, bids and contract negotiations between the client, the Bids and Proposals Team and other
departments within the business. Annual remuneration contains a fixed portion that comes under a given sales
and margin target, along with bonuses and additional shared profit when targets are exceeded.

Key Deliverables:
• Position  as the preferred services partner with key clients, aligning our services portfolio and
value propositions with their project deliveries within the construction & O&M project phases.
• Dovetail effectively with Project and Operations teams to follow-up potential sales leads and secure
technical support as required in securing contract wins.
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline which ensures both new and existing customer relationships
are in place to ensure Client is the provider of choice in its chosen power markets.
• Ensure account management plans are in place for all key accounts and provide timely sales input into
the annual marketing plan and events.
• Ensure comprehensive completion of and adherence to the sales qualification and prioritisation
process which ensures only those opportunities that present the best chance of conversion to
contract.
• Working alongside the Commercial Department to ensure all relevant technical and commercial
aspects of the bid are clearly understood across all stakeholders.
• In conjunction with the Head of Commercial, agree margins to be applied to proposals to reflect
market pricing intelligence, inherent risk levels, Client’s USP’s as well as the business plan targets for
each market sector.
• Provide the Head of Commercial with regular reports related to all relevant sales, market and
competitor activity including an accurate Sales Pipeline, Forecast and Key Account Plan data set
• Contribute to the set-up and management of the annual sales budget
• Other tasks as may be reasonably requested by line manager from time to time

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:
• 1-3 years Sales or Business Development experience in a similar role, within the Offshore Renewable,
logistics, mechanical, electronics or supply chain sector.
• Demonstrable track record in developing sustainable client relations.
• An understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
• Experience in sales, negotiating and closing contracts.
• Excellent interpersonal, management and reporting skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
• Willingness to undertake frequent periods of domestic and international travel.
