Aker Solutions in Oslo are now looking for SAS/Automation Engineers to strengthen their team.

 

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Take responsibility for PCS and utility systems
  • Prepare SAS documentation like functional specifications, SCD, hardware reports, software reports and follow up SAS suppliers
  • Provide input to and make use of technical registers (COMOS, MIPS, client systems etc.)
  • Interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client/s
  • Take responsibility for SAS software testing and delivery to different interface contractors
  • Plan, organise and manage workload to ensure work is completed in line with project schedules
Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in automation or relevant engineering field
  • At least 5 years’ engineering design experience as a SAS/Automation engineer within relevant industries like oil & gas/energy, marine etc.
  • Experience of process control and utility systems
  • Experience of SCD/ Logic diagram preparation
  • Good knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
  • Software skills within COMOS are an advantage
  • Pro-active and a great team-player who is quick to adapt
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
 

NES Advantage can offer 2-year contracts with excellent prospects for extension. Work permits required for non-EU citizens hired by NES Advantage will be arranged and paid for.
