For our Client, an international engineering company we are currently recruiting for:


SCADA Specialist


Your Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SCADA Specialist, with great electrical skills, preferably with knowledge about the renewables industry, who can support customers and colleagues in solving advanced SCADA issues.


Responsibilities:
  • execute project installation of SCADA systems in-house with our customers in close cooperation with the project organization.
  • develop and implement customized solutions tailored to customers’ SCADA requirements.
  • execute repair and maintenance work.
  • troubleshoot advanced SCADA issues.
  • be an internal problem solver within company support and service team.
  • participate in, or be responsible for, implementation of SCADA system projects related to new or modified facilities. This work may include application configuration, application design, graphics configuration, and other activities in accordance with SCADA International’s policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:
  • minimum of 4-5 years of direct work experience with SCADA systems at a high level from working within the preferably renewable energy industry
  • good understanding of networks, and you are familiar with communication protocols, including OPC, DNP3, Modbus, and IEC standards 101, 104, and 61850.
  • able to quickly learn and understand the IT infrastructure in different customer set-ups and how to integrate SCADA systems into existing IT enterprise solutions.
  • being a great team-player as well as a good self-starter
  • being proactive, service-minded, and able to work well with customers.
  • having attention to detail and a strong quality focus.
  • applying excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • working within tight deadlines and staying focused under pressure.
  • possessing good communication skills in English (German is an extra plus)
