DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Assists IA Manager and Chief Audit Executive in the annual risk assessment and IA planning
  • Prepares risk-based audit engagement program for internal audit projects assigned
  • Performs internal audit projects/work assigned as well as oversees audit engagements with external auditors and co-sourced internal auditors
  • Performs effective risk and control assessments
  • Completes audit engagements on time and prepares audit reports detailing observations and value-adding recommendations agreed with process owners and concerned management
  • Presents audit findings and finds ways to increase compliance's, enhance efficiency and effectiveness controls and risk management processes
  • Coordinates with other assurance providers of the company being audited
  • Presents to the Audit & Risk Committee the results of the internal audits conducted

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of any of the following courses: BS Accountancy, Finance, Internal Audit, Industrial Engineering or any other related Management or Business courses
  • With at least 3 years of internal audit experience with power generation companies/renewable energy companies or more than 5 years of combined external audit experience in a Big 4 audit firm and internal audit experience in a conglomerate setting
  • Experienced in auditing ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP Hana and SCADA applications is an advantage
  • Advanced experience in ACL Robotics, data analytics and in Power BI or Tableau for continuous audit and continuous monitoring implementation is preferred
  • Experienced in facilitating audit and risk committee meetings
  • Professional Certifications are an advantage (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA)
  • Proficiency in the conduct of internal audits in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA’s) International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and in-depth understanding of control practices and best practices
  • Attention to detail, strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Organizational and leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills
  • Effective and efficient project management skills
  • Flexible and can adapt in a fast-paced environment
