We are seeking a (Senior) Clinical Research Manager to join the growing ANZ team at a global, science-driven biotechnology company.

The role:
  • Primarily a line/functional management role for clinical operations staff.
  • Hiring, training, development and retention of a team of CRAs & CTAs.
  • Ensuring qualified study implementation.  
  • SSU and CRA (Trial Monitoring and external) quality and compliance of start-up and clinical monitoring activities related to investigator site qualification, initiation, and trial conduct (recruitment, quality data collection).
  • Ensuring implementation and appropriate application of established Monitoring procedures and tools in accordance with GCP, ICH, SOP’s, and local regulations.    
  • Allocation, initiation and conduct of trials.
  • Delivery of quality data and compliance to quality standards.
  • People and resource management.
Required:
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • 2 years of practical experience in people management and project management.
  • 5 years or above of progressive experience in clinical research within the biotech, pharmaceutical sector, CRO industry or relevant field.
  • Thorough understanding of the international aspects of drug development process, including expert knowledge of international standards (GCP/ICH), health authorities (CNDA), local/National Health Authorities regulations.
  • Solid understanding of career development and performance management activities.
  • Oncology / Hematology experience & knowledge.
  • Experience developing trial plans including project plan, site monitoring, pharmacy and lab manuals, risk mitigation strategies, trial budgets & site selection/feasibility.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of methodologies & approaches.
  • Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
