Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a large LNG plant based in the UAE. The engineering work for this project will be conducted in Paris. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the liquefaction and fractionation of natural gas (LNG) and a proven track record in managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in the LNG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the construction phase of a large LNG plant project in the UAE.
• Coordinate with the engineering team based in Paris to ensure seamless integration of design and construction activities.
• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on LNG projects with overall 20 years of experience.
• Proven experience in the liquefaction and fractionation of natural gas (LNG).
• Extensive EPC experience in large LNG plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Willingness to travel to UAE if required.
