Our Operator client is looking for a Senior Contract Engineer Upstream to join them on the large Mozambique LNG project.

The job holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising The Surf T&I CFT package of the Mozambique LNG project. The EPC contract value is over $1 Billion.

Contract engineering activities for Construction projects, from FEED to EPC contracts.
Potential tasks in function of missions:
  • Contract preparation (ITT and Contract drafting)
  • Issue of the Invitation To Tender
  • Management of clarifications and qualifications with bidders
  • Assistance in the preparation of the Technical Recommendation Report and the Recommendation to Award
  • Preparation of final contract documents
  • Follow-up of the contract
  • To manage and administrate all activities related to Upstream Surf contracts
  • To organize, manage and control the related activities to Contract management
  •  To liaise with all entities such as operational entities, legal, insurance, accounting and cost control and other portions of the Project where interfaces exist
  • Ensure that all activities are performed within a quality and cost-effective manner
  • To promote improvement of Contracts and Procurement process, controlling the implementation of contractual terms
  • To create a competitive and transparent atmosphere in Contracts and Procurement processes
  • Observe company values at any time and in all matters
  • Professional Experience (years): +15
  • Level / Diploma: Engineer or equivalent
  • Previous experience in major Construction Projects.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. A working knowledge of French (written and spoken) would be advantageous.
  • Good communication, management, and interpersonal skills
