Job description:
Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join their team in Brisbane. In this role, you will be client side and play a key part in designing and commissioning oil and gas projects.
If you are a talented Engineer with a strong foundation in control systems engineering with a blend of design and commissioning experience, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to their success.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage, coordinate and facilitate client-side technical advice, along with other teams, to deliver capital works projects
• Provide control systems technical support along a whole project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning
• Manage external engineering consultants, maintain client-side requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in relation to packages of work
• Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement processes
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Client-side experience in the oil and gas industry
• Experience in control systems engineering roles
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and control systems hardware
• Experience in concept, design and feasibility studies
• Experience in managing contractors and consultants during commissioning projects
