Our client, a well-established Tier One Mining Organisation, is looking for the new Senior DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineer to join them on a 12 month contract basis.
These two positions have been created due to substantial development within the department. With this steep growth curve, the team haven’t lost touch with who they are and why they’ve been successful; they truly believe a collaborative environment is the key.

+ Responsibilities for the Role
The team is responsible for the environments and infrastructure used to develop and deploy autonomous vehicle projects. This role supports several development teams and will be responsible for the deployment, configuration and management of production and non-production environments and preparing artefacts for production deployment.

DevOps Engineers are vital to driving continuous improvement and are often required to propose, implement, and maintain automation tools and processes to increase efficiency across the entire product lifecycle. They also support the internal IT systems and hardware used by developers.

Senior DevOps Engineers are expected to contribute to the design and development of the solutions we are responsible for and to play and important role in the mentorship of more junior team members.

+ Skills Required
  • CI / CD pipelines designing and development
  • The ability to develop automated solutions to novel problems
  • The ability to understand and respond to the needs of development teams
  • Advanced competency in Python and Bash Scripting
  • Competence with Linux system CLI commands
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • The ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills
  • Full Australian working rights required.
