Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?The Electrification, Maintenance and Modification (EMM) segment within Aker Solutions are specialists in managing, executing, and delivering small, medium and large complex projects from feasibility studies, frame agreements and EPCI.

EMM UK is now supporting a 3-year Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor's offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway) and is looking for engineering and design discipline Project personnel to join us.We are looking for a Senior Document Controller/LCI to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.

What will you be doing?

• Contributing to improving working methods and tools related to Document Management, with a high focus on digitalization
• Establishing the electronic Document Management System (Company application, training will be provided) for a project, including setting up all relevant tables, fields workflows, procedures, guidelines and work-instructions
• Coordination and supervision of all Document Management staff assigned to a project
• Ensuring that all relevant contractual requirements and standards/specifications and practice are communicated, known and followed by all Document Management staff
• Providing training and follow-up support for project personnel in EDMS and Document Management routines

We think you should have:

• The ability and willingness to lead, demonstrate a proactive attitude with structured and solution-oriented mindset
• 5-10 years of experience with Document Management and Lifecycle Information from EPCI projects, preferably in Equinor projects
• Experience with use and administration of Document Management applications (PIMS, STID, TIME)
• Ability to drive change and improve how we work with Document Management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
