Senior Drilling Engineer - CO2 Team
Working as part of the Onshore Wells Engineering Team that support CO2 Well Development and Servicing, reporting to the Onshore Wells Team Lead.
Main responsibilities will be:
May be requested to work on other scopes such as Subsea Exploration Well Support.

Working as part of the Onshore Wells Engineering Team that support CO2 Well Development and Servicing, reporting to the Onshore Wells Team Lead.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Detailed Well Engineering for new Water Production, Water Disposal and CO2 Sequestration Wells
- Within limits of Rig Capability, Wellbore Stability and Life of Well Servicing requirements develop Wells designs for Pressure Management wells (water producers and Injectors) and CO2 injection wells, working with Subsurface and Facilities Teams.
- Casing design
- Well pad layout.
- Directional Planning
- T&D
- Hydraulics
- Time and cost analysis
- Risk Analysis
- Once designs have been approved generate execution programs and procedures working with Rig Contractor and Chevron’s Business Partners.
- Monitor Operations performance.
- Generate Look-back and End of Well Documentation
May be requested to work on other scopes such as Subsea Exploration Well Support.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Degree
- Onshore Directional Drilling and Completions experience > 10 years
