Contract period: ASAP - 31.12.2025
Location: Stavanger

Main Tasks:

• Design, size, and specify solutions for electrical systems and equipment on the FEED and EPC oil and gas projects.
• Prepare, modify, and review Electrical Design Criteria, and Electrical System philosophy documents like heat tracing philosophy, earthing and bonding philosophy, power distribution and control philosophy, normal and emergency lighting design philosophy, start up/shutdown philosophy etc.  
• Prepare, modify, and review electrical drawings like single line drawings, block drawings, layout drawings, and schedule like electrical load list, electrical cable schedule, electrical MTO list etc.
• Prepare technical specifications, data sheets and tender documentation of Electrical Equipment’s including but not limited to UPS, SWBD’s/DB’s, Distribution XTRF’s, Electrical Motor’s, and packaged equipment. 
• Design and Sizing of electrical systems and equipment’s.
• Co-ordination with suppliers and review of documents and drawings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master of degree in electrical power engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, especially in FEED, study projects of Top-side modifications for Offshore oil and gas platforms.
• Project experience from electrical package follow up and area design.
• Experience within electrical system and equipment design at LV & MV distribution level.
• Proficient in using the electrical calculations tools like Febdok, TraceCalc, DiaLux.
• Multi-disciplinary Engineering understanding on the FEED/EPC offshore oil and gas projects.
• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards of NORSOK E-001, IEC 61892, IECx 60079.
• Must have completed and have valid FSE and Ex courses.  
• Experience from Brownfield oil and gas projects of Top-side modifications.
• Ability to handle high workloads.
• Must have a valid Offshore certificate for safety during emergency for offshore surveys requirement.
