EMM UK is now supporting a 3-year Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor's offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway) and is looking for engineering and design discipline Project personnel to join us.

We are looking for a Senior Safety Automated System (ICSS) Engineer to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.

What will you be doing?

• Be involved in a wide variety of engineering scopes ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Minor/Major Modification and Maintenance Projects and other Specialist Services
• Provide Safety Automated System Engineering services in a competent and efficient manner in compliance with relevant regulations, codes and standards
• Implementing professional engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and completion activities maintaining quality at all times
• Define the scopes of work required to align with clients’ requirements and provide input to budget estimates and planning to implement the scope
• Be innovative in identifying technical solutions, prepare engineering concepts and develop into detail design
• Be responsible for managing and coordinating SAS packages with vendor and other disciplines, and attend FAT’s
• Be responsible for managing interfaces between SAS and other systems
• Be responsible for SAS design and integration including preparation of engineering documents such as C&E, SCDs, F&G/ESD/PSD Block logic
• Verification of documents such as SCD, Alarm classification, software report, HMI documents etc
• Liaise with client and other stakeholders in the execution of the project scopes.

We think you should have:

• BSC/HND level with 10 years of experience in front end studies, FEED and/or EPCI projects from energy sector
• Broad competency with control system design and integration e.g. ESD, PSD, PCS
• Experience with Network and Cyber security
• Experience with SAS Architecture design and control system design
• Experience in the international engineering standards associated with this role
• Knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards preferred but not essential
• Solution oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
• Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
• A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
• Willing to work in a hybrid structure with regular visits to the primary office
