Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Environment & Decommissioning this role is responsible for leading the
coordination of air emission reporting into Energy Components. That includes management and
maintenance of reporting air emissions in Energy Components for the Canada Business Unit (CBU).
Key Responsibilities:
• GHG data management and maintenance across various platforms (i.e. Envirosoft Suite and Energy Components).
• Ongoing support with Fuel Flare Vent Manager data flows into production accounting and Emissions Manager
(Envirosoft suite).
• Support with Fuel Flare Vent Manager configuration and coordination with the business to obtain accurate inputs.
• Working knowledge of Energy Components, to be able to extract data and support with Energy Components
implementation of air emissions calculations, stabilization, and maintenance. Trouble shoot differences between
EC and Emissons Manager outputs, utilize IT to resolve data descripancies.
• Ongoing Energy Components into PRA and coordination with operations to assist with continuing efforts to
automate processes and data movement from one application to another.
• Miscellaneous support to the business on an as needed basis.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with an emphasis on air emissions and
production accounting with exposure to operations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Sciences or equivalent, or a combination of
experience and education that provides a similar skill set.
• Experience quantifying and verifying GHG emissions data (e.g. life cycle assessments, benchmarking analyses).
• Experience with GHG calculation software such as Envirosoft Suite and Energy Components is critical.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, must be self-motivated in order to manage workload and prioritize
to meet deadlines.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to develop practical and creative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to share knowledge cross-functionally; comfortable receiving questions
about work product and ease with explaining processes and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, SAP, PowerBI.
