Exciting new offshore Operator opportunity!

Role is rotational and shift patterned (14/14 days on/off and 12-hour shifts)
THUET, T-2 Certificate Required

Perform the safe and efficient operation of production, utility, and safety equipment in line with policies and all relevant regulations. Ensure that quality data is input to the Permit to Work (PTW) system to keep the platform personnel and process safe. Manage day-to-day priorities and coordination to minimize SIMPOS and maximize efficiency of the platform.

Knowledge of the responsibilities of an Issuing / Performing / Authorization Authority within the PTW system for keeping the worksite safe and clean, and ensuring all isolations are performed using the stated isolation procedures.

Report any issues impacting process safety, personnel safety, and environmental conditions.

Assist with all regulatory required testing, inspections, and completion of all required paperwork on equipment such as PSVs, SCSSVs, USVs, BDSVs, etc.

Identify operational improvements and work through to implementation, including clearly communicating responsibilities for all relevant personnel.

Ensuring all operating procedures are up to date and followed including P&ID reviews, HAZOPs, and HAZIDs

Ensure all activities comply with applicable standards, regulations, and corporate policies.

Assist with managing NOTO’s, WO’s and PR’s in the SAP system

Assist in regulatory testing and PMs to minimize the impact to production.

Display the ability to troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair equipment.

Understand the MOC process and utilize Pre-Startup checklists during the commissioning of new equipment, control logic changes, or major work performed on existing equipment.

Identify, anticipate future problems, and provide feedback on remediating these problems before they occur.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Professional / Technical Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications:

Additional: Advanced Fire Fighting, Lifeboatman, Fast Rescue Craft, First Aid / CPR, Helicopter Landing Officer, Barge Supervisor, Major Emergency Management

Skills & Competencies:
* Familiar with the needs and requirements of Permit to Work (PTW) systems
* Familiar with the needs and requirements of SEMS, assist in gathering information for MOC’s.
* Be fully conversant with Emergency and Operating Procedures and all relevant regulations; be aware of and adhere to such regulations to develop a safe and efficient working environment.
* Knowledgeable and capable of interpreting Process and Instrument Drawings (P&IDs) especially as it pertains to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
