Our client a Global Oil and Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Senior Planner for a 12-month contract.

- Responsible for the wide range of planning and scheduling management activities for Onshore project
- Provide Planning, Scheduling, and progress reporting services across Onshore project support to Lead Planner.
- Closely support Onshore Lead Planner on establishing project schedule basis for DP-4.
- Review and approve schedule, planning/scheduling procedures and progress measurement procedures from EPC Contractors.
- Effective involvement during EPC ITT and EPC tender evaluation process.
- Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule including EPC Contractor’ scope and non-EPC scope including MOF and shut-down works.
- Close coordination with Operations planning and ensure alignment of objectives with respect to shutdowns
- Maintain interface milestones across execution packages in a project and ensure close coordination with Interface SMEs.
- Review and analyse impact on Critical path and/or contractual requirements.
- Work Collaboratively with Onshore Lead Planner to ensure all aspects of the project’s multiple timelines are accurately captured, maintained and analysed to ensure on time delivery
- Closely support Onshore Lead Planner on scenario planning and preparation of associated planning deliverables/analysis.
- Maintaining schedules at Project level, with analysis of critical path and potential clashes and proposal of remedial actions/solutions
- Ensuring that all planning requirements put in place by the Contractors shall be in line with overall Project objectives and comply with COMPANY specifications
- Provide planning and scheduling input for cost forecasting, for reporting purposes together with analysis of reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc, as well as for periodic presentations to all parties involved
- Conduct and facilitate Schedule Risk Analysis in the event that a baseline schedule needs to be updated.
- Ensuring availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation
- Participate in reviews and technical audits on scheduling & progress reporting as required.
- Close coordination with Brownfields and Operations Planners for short term and long-term planning and scheduling.
- Maintain good relationship and constant communication with Project Controls Function for effectiveness and integrity of overall project controls.
- Prepare, develop pre-execution project activities and lead discussion on framing project and execution methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or construction management
- PMP certified is desirable
- Extensive experience in Project Planning and Scheduling for EPC projects and Brownfield’s execution.
- Site experience in Onshore O&G projects especially Onshore LNG.
- Through Knowledge / understanding with site execution and module fabrication sequence, constraints and benchmarks.
- Competence in Primavera (18 and above), SAP and MS Office Project.
- Competence in Primavera Risk Analysis preferred.
- Competence in use of MS Office applications like Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Understanding of Data Management is essential, Competence in Power BI is mandatory.
