Our client is specialised in consulting services to its clients in traditional hydrocarbon and the energy industries.

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer specialised in Transition energies. 

The candidate will carry out conceptual and detailed analysis of complex energy systems and develop associated methods and tools to improve engineering and delivery processes.

As part of the role, you will have the chance to:
  • Perform engineering analysis to identify optimal solutions based on client drivers and be able to efficiently communicate these solutions through technical reports and presentations
  • Carry-out techno-economic analyses for energy projects (upstream, mid-stream, down-stream but also renewables)
  • Work on key Energy Transition topics such as Hydrogen, CCUS, Ammonia, Biofuels and biowaste, etc
  • Imagine & support the development new digital tools to improve our performance or deliver added-value to our clients
  • Participate to consulting activities from green fields to mature assets
  • Consolidate results and methodologies within sound deliverables
  • Liaise and interface with consulting, engineering, business and digital teams as well as external partners
The work performed will be varied and activities include independent advisory, feasibility and conceptual studies, and operational support activities often with direct interface with the final Client.

As part of the job you will 
  • Performs advisory work as defined by project. in accordance with our client project quality requirements.
  • Controls relevant discipline engineering activities to ensure completion of safe and operable design in accordance with our client project requirements, relevant laws, regulations and codes.
  • Reviews job scope and provides estimates and schedules.
  • Communicates regularly with Client / Study Manager to ensure objectives are being met in a timely manner.
  • Reviews all relevant discipline data.
  • Interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
  • Develops engineering strategies, philosophies and procedures.
  • Participates in project presentations to communicate results.
  • Reviews all data requested by Client for approval.
  • Participates in safety, environmental, operational and design review meetings, where necessary.
  • Provides support to younger engineers and mentor assigned personnel.
  • Capacity to lead small discipline engineering teams and/or lead small projects.

  • Digital skills  & appetite
  • Knowledge of project economics 
  • Experience in energy transition domains
  • Operational support experience
