Senior Project Engineer, Northern Ireland
We are currently supporting one of our Life Science clients looking to add a Senior Project Engineer to their busy Capital Projects team in Northern Ireland
This is an exciting time to be joining the business as they have multiple capital projects underway on the site and the Senior Project Engineer will be working on projects including an expansion to their existing suite of laboratories, an expansion to their Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility and an expansion of their API facility.

Job function & Responsibilities
The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design, project management, procurement, commissioning and optimisation of facilities and utilities equipment including HVAC, Compressed air, Chilled Water and BMS. This will include:
*Leading and Supporting development of key project documentation (URS, FDS, SDS, Datasheets).
*Ensuring design development and vendor proposals comply with user requirements.
*Generating and updating engineering drawings including P&IDs.
*Engaging with vendors through technical documents (RFI / RFP / RFQ) and technical meetings to ensure work packages are delivered on time and in spec
*Leading pre-qualification assessment of vendors and contractors.
*Supporting project procurement and cost management.
*Leading all commissioning activities on plant and equipment
*Ensure CDM compliance of work packages.

Person Specification
Ideal candidates for the Senior Project Engineer will be qualified to Degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related subject and have demonstrable experience working on multiple complex projects within an engineering function in a highly regulated environment. A sound understanding of CDM regs is highly desirable as is a knowledge of how QMS work and how it relates to Engineering Projects with a proven ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment.
