Our client a major EPC Design contractor are looking to add a Senior Structural Design Engineer to work from their multi-discipline Suresnes office in Paris.
The role will be a contract based role with an initial duration of 12 months. It requires someone that will be able to be in the Paris office for at least 3 days a week.
In return, you will receive an attractive day rate.
The work is mostly on a project in Africa, which the client will elaborate on at interview stage.

Requirements:
- Experience in Installation aids and Sea fastening
- Graduated with a M.Sc. / Ph.D. in civil (Structural), Mechanics or Marine/offshore Engineering
- + 8 yrs of experience and preferable with previous experience in an Installation Contractor
- Steel structure design, material strength, Naval architecture, piping design
- Knowledge of piping, connectors, valves and forgings and associated codes;
- Competency in design and analysis software packages for FEA (Abaqus, Ansys…) and Beam Elements (SACS, NSO/ISYMOST…) is essential
