Our team in Tranby is now looking for a Senior System Engineer.
What will you be doing?
- Defining subsea system architecture, write system design basis, operational philosophies, and scope definition.
- Check/approve test procedures, system schematics, P&IDs, project design philosophies and system analyses.
- Be present at design reviews with client and resolve internal/external interfaces and interact directly with client’s technical representatives related to deliveries.
- Oversee project scope management system and escalate and present technical issues to project management and other more senior stakeholders.
- Provide clear design directions and instructions to application, product engineers and SLS personnel.
- Guide, supervise and train less experienced system engineers.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines (e.g., System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical & Controls Engineering) or equivalent
- 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
- Proficiency in COMOS, AutoCAD, Solidworks (3D) is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- Proven experience with quickly understanding technical issues and learning how to perform new tasks.
- Excellent contractual and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills, communicating effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- Relevant Subsea background and experience
