We are the world-class subsea technology provider, enabling resources, and accelerating the industry towards a low-carbon future. Subsea offers solutions, products, and services for Subsea Oil & Gas projects, such as: production systems, processing, boosting & compression, power distribution, intervention & workover systems, and tools & subsea life cycle services.

Our team in Tranby is now looking for a Senior System Engineer.

What will you be doing?
  • Defining subsea system architecture, write system design basis, operational philosophies, and scope definition.
  • Check/approve test procedures, system schematics, P&IDs, project design philosophies and system analyses.
  • Be present at design reviews with client and resolve internal/external interfaces and interact directly with client’s technical representatives related to deliveries.
  • Oversee project scope management system and escalate and present technical issues to project management and other more senior stakeholders.
  • Provide clear design directions and instructions to application, product engineers and SLS personnel.
  • Guide, supervise and train less experienced system engineers.
We think you should have:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines (e.g., System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical & Controls Engineering) or equivalent
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
  • Proficiency in COMOS, AutoCAD, Solidworks (3D) is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience with quickly understanding technical issues and learning how to perform new tasks.
  • Excellent contractual and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, communicating effectively in English both orally and in writing.
  • Relevant Subsea background and experience
