My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a road construction project within Metro Melbourne. As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities on-site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The project is located within the Melbourne fringe and will likely reach completion in early 2025. A great opportunity to work with a top tier civil contractor who has extensive experience in road construction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including earthworks, paving, drainage, and utilities installation.
- Monitor progress and ensure that work is being carried out as per the project schedule and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential issues or deviations from the plans. - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material inventory.
- Assist in resolving any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Implement and enforce safety measures on-site to ensure the well-being of all workers and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on road projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team.
