Site Installation Manager
Job purpose:
The Site Installation Manager is a member of the Construction Management Team, which is jointly responsible for achieving the Project’s Construction Objectives related to HSSE, Quality, Cost and Schedule. Site Installation Manager will take active part in making sure that the fabrication and installation work activities provided by Contractors / Subcontractors on Site, meet the Project Quality Requirements. The Site Installation Manager is responsible for the Aker projects installation activities at Norcem Brevik CCS.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge/skills required:
Good knowledge and competence within the Construction area. Understanding of the construction site works and QHSSE rules.
Experiences required:
Educational background:
Technical background, relevant work experience may supersede educational requirements Fluent in English & Norwegian
Personal Attributes required:
Working location: Brevik, Norway
One year initial contract until 30th Jun. 2024 with possibilities for extensions.

Site Installation Manager
Job purpose:

Site Installation Manager will take active part in making sure that the fabrication and installation work activities provided by Contractors / Subcontractors on Site, meet the Project Quality Requirements. The Site Installation Manager is responsible for the Aker projects installation activities at Norcem Brevik CCS.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and comply with all Norcem's Brevik CCS EPC Project contractual requirements with special focus on the HSSE requirements and expectations.
- Follow up subcontractor works on site: installation of mechanical equipment, pipelines and piping works, steel structures installation, etc., as well as relevant testing.
- Follow up installation activities, report daily and weekly progress, ensure that plans are followed and report any discrepancies.
- Responsible for controlling and managing the project's resources on the site.
- In collaboration with the project planner ensure the preparation and follow up of all relevant project plans.
- In collaboration with the Methods Manager participate in the preparation of method descriptions for project related SOW’s.
- In collaboration with project quality personnel ensure correct quality of the work and material, in accordance with specifications, government requirements, rules and the company's standards.
- Maintain positive contacts with project lead engineers, subcontractors and client representatives to arrange inputs for a smooth site installation of equipment’s, structures and vessels.
- Ensure that required equipment on site are certified and in a good shape, without noticeable malfunctions.
- Be proactive and take an active role in risk assessments and follow up / take action on risk reducing activities.
- Proactive notification of potential changes to scope of work.
- Contribute in method work and support the area leads.
- Report to & perform other Construction related tasks required by the Construction Manager.
Knowledge/skills required:

- Previous operational experience within Site coordination and Installation work at site
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in collaboration with Clients and Suppliers Representatives
Educational background:
