Job Title: Site Installation Technician (Fire and Alarm)
Location: Montreal
Start Date: Immediately

Our client is looking to bring on a Site Installation Technician in the greater Montreal region for a 6-month contract that will transition into a permanent role. The Site Installation Technician performs mainly pre-defined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely. The technician will also support customers remotely and onsite, and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues. Also, the technician coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.

As a Fire and Alarm Technician, you will work at our clientele in the greater Montreal region. You will be conducting inspections and maintenance on various systems.
• Testing systems in accordance with the various codes and standards in place
• Diagnosing and repairing/correcting technical problems
• Ensuring unparalleled customer service.

Requirements
- Have one of the following diplomas: DEP, AEC or DEC degree in electronics or fire safety
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and organizational skills
- Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours and outside of the greater area of Montreal
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Technical aptitude and problem solving
- Speaks fluent English or French – Preference to French / English bilingual candidates
