NES Fircroft are working on behalf of a global engineering client actively sourcing a Site Manager to join and manage a high profile project based in East Anglia. This will be a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to work with a Principal Contractor on a 400Kv substation project supplying power to the UK Grid from renewable energy sources
This role is outside IR35 and will allow for Ltd company workers to be engaged on the assignment
Key responsibilities for this role:
• Supervising civil teams
• Monitoring of subcontractors
• Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Chairing weekly meetings (safety, co-ordination, project and progress meetings)
• Responsible for site Health & Safety under the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager
Experience / qualifications required for this role:
• SMSTS/SSSTS (essential)
• 3 day first aid (essential)
• Civil background - ducting, cable installation, double/triple circuits
• BESC / NG Persons
• HV experience
• Long-term work – 2 + years
