Our Client a major Norwegian company, based in London is looking for a specialist Quantity Surveyor on a staff basis, Hybrid working in thier London offices. You will be working on interesting renewable and Oil & Gas projects.
What you will be doing
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Monitor and consolidate overall quantity forecasts and quantity updates, including input to project control monthly and baseline process. Keep special focus on forecasts and present new trends when identified.
Calculation of revenue basis for tenders and projects
Establishment and maintenance of experience data
Benchmarking and quality assurance of the norms and quantities
Development of estimating tools
Support Business management processes in tenders and projects
Prepare and present information to project management.
Assistance to other estimation activities within the department
Estimate impact of construction changes
What we think you should have
Bachelor/Masters degree. A technical background from skilled workers combined with experience from production and/or economical education is also an option
Good knowledge of industrial technical trades, familiar with contract interpretations in the Oil & gas industry
Experience from project control or construction management
expereince in Principal/Lead position
Knowledge to software like MS excel, PowerPoint and database tools
