Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Science-related field
Minimum Experience-
Minimum12 years including:
• 5 Years Quality Assurance in Office Environment
• 7 Years Quality Control and Inspection in Field / Shop Environment
Job Specific Skills- • Very good command over written English.
• Understanding the role and impact of quality in the overall project cycle and plant operation.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, technical procedures.
• Ability to represent the department in frequent cross-functional interactions and possible customer, subcontractor, or vendor contacts.
• Ability to provide solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
• Ensure competent Inspectors are available to carryout the Inspections
• RFI's planning is met
• NCR's Closure
• Inspectors compliance to ITP
• Frequent site visits
• Participation on Quality Walkthrough, Site Surveillance
Sound technical knowledge related to welding, NDT, Heat Treatment, inspection & testing.
• Combined exposure to field and office work related to quality.
• Knowledge of Engineering Standards, local codes and international standards and codes.
• Ability to prepare / review Inspection & Test Plans and procedures in petro chemical projects.
• Ability to resolve differences between applicable codes and standards.
• Interdisciplinary exposure.
• Ability to judge the ability of Contractors, vendors and third party inspection agencies in providing acceptable quality of equipment and services.
• Ability to identify quality trends and issues using quality reports, audit reports etc. select the issues to be highlighted to the management
