Our client, an Oilfield Services company, is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in Arendal on an 18-month contract.
This role offers versatile and varied engineering tasks. The employees will cooperate closely with other departments and disciplines and will on occasion get the opportunity to do some fabrication follow-up of suppliers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and calculations for systems (strength, fatigue, buckling, etc) in accordance with recognised offshore rules and regulations by applying finite element software and hand-calculations
- Develop analysis reports and documentation for approval by Clients and Class Societies
- Collaborate in design discussions and design development
- Perform internal check of design documentation developed by coworkers
- Collaborate with other disciplines (design, marine, mechanical, piping)
- Follow-up of and communication with Class Societies and Clients
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Eligible to work in Norway
