Actual Job Title : Structural Mechanical & Piping (SMP) Supervisor
Roster : 15/13 Roster
Core Accountabilities:
To ensure that Upstream projects are delivered safely and meet the company procedure and standard’s requirements.

Position Specific:
• Supervision of blue collar project teams undertaking Project construction activities
• Responsible for the safe execution of day to day construction activities
• Responsible for maintaining schedule of construction activities
• Responsible for delivery of project in line with Quality processes & procedures
• Directing sub-contractors engaged to deliver project deliverables
• Interface with operations and management to resolve issues
• Provide advice to crew, contractors and management on best practice execution methodologies
• Monitor blue collar workforce performance and ensure tasks are being performed safely
• Review and assess work[1]packs from engineering and provide constructability input
• Abide by all approved land access requirements
• Ensure a close working relationship with company third party services/groups
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for field construction team
• Manage and monitor daily field construction activities
• Ensure activities undertaken are in line with company policies and procedures
• Ensure benchmarking/KPI data is completed as required
• Provide daily report of construction activities to management People Management
• The contractor must abide by company policy in relation to HR policies and procedures such as annual HR cycle and meet deadlines within the appropriate 2 timeframes Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE)
• Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. In addition to any specific accountabilities for HSSE, all Contractors are accountable for HSSE within their area of the Business and are responsible for ensuring that their team (if applicable) adopt exemplary HSSE behaviours
• All company Contractors are expected to be aware of, and adhere to the Business Principles at all times under Conduct, Our People, Society and HSSE and to participate in relevant training
• Advocating Goal Zero

Additional Job Details:   
Experience required :
• Previous experience in oil and Gas, experience in projects highly regarded
• 5 years’ experience in supervision
• Trade Qualified
• Proven experience providing technical advice and troubleshooting
• Proven experience with safety management systems and the application of HSSE principles on construction projects
• Demonstrated experience overseeing a team and managing the construction activities of contractors and direct resources
• Proven experience managing contractors in line with a contract for service Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
• Trade Qualifications
• Previous Oil and Gas experience
• Supervision experience
