Subsea offers solutions, products, and services for Subsea Oil & Gas projects, such as: production systems, processing, boosting & compression, power distribution, intervention & workover systems, and tools & subsea life cycle services.

Our team in Tranby is now looking for a Study Manager.


What will you be doing?
  • Be fully accountable for all commercial and engineering activities in subsea studies, or for a defined subsea scope in multidiscipline studies.
  • Work with a highly competent multidisciplinary team including technical and product experts, cost estimators, planners, finance and sales.  
  • Be responsible for the total commercial and technical performance of the study scope, in addition to commercial and technical (on scope-level) discussions directly towards clients’ technical, commercial and management representatives.
  • Be a key contributor to secure pull-through of studies into EPC/EPCI contracts.
  • Be responsible for the overall study budget, incl. monitoring and reporting, approving technical changes in the study, and for managing changes/ Variation Orders towards the customer.
  • Be a key contributor in supporting Customer Management in commercial and technical dialogue with customers. Additionally, act as main contact towards clients during studies, and during study tenders if required.  
  • Review and approve the deliverables in the study and lead a team to ensure all study activities are appropriately resourced and managed in line with contract requirements.
  • Own and present study scope to key stakeholders both internally and externally.
 
We think you should have:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines (e.g., System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical & Controls Engineering) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Great ability to communicate with key stakeholders from all levels in the organization (from engineers to executive management)
  • Good contractual and commercial awareness
  • Ability to lead by example and establish a project culture to enable success.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
