Our client a major Oil & Gas operator are looking to add to their team in Aberdeen. They require a Subsea Hardware Lead Engineer to join their team supporting on going offshore Oil & Gas production projects.

The role will be a contract based opportunity and will be to work Monday – Friday. Client are happy with a 3 days in office 2 from home working pattern.

Rate on offer is negotiable depending on experience, it will be based on a day rate. It has been deemed inside IR35, as such will be available on a PAYE or Umbrella basis.

To be considered for this role, it is essential candidates have existing Right To Work in the UK and also are happy to work full time in Aberdeen.

Role overview
  • Our clients Central Subsea (CS) division is responsible for the specification, design, delivery, and maintenance of Subsea Production Systems (SPS). This includes components from the wellhead through to the flow line and riser as well as miscellaneous topsides elements.
  • CS acts as the clients single face to the subsea hardware suppliers for equipment design procurement, storage, maintenance, and onshore repair.
  • The Subsea Hardware Engineer will work in a flow to work fashion providing engineering and delivery support to our clients supplier facing squads delivering the manifolds, connection systems and processing systems and equipment. 
  • The candidate will also provide front end engineering support to projects in the concept development stage. 
Qualifications and Skills
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree, Professional Certification preferred
Key Skills 
  • Subsea Hardware design, delivery, operations experience.
