NES Fircroft are looking for a Subsea Preservation, Storage, Maintenance (PSM) & Handover Lead to join a major operator in Paris, to support a large LNG project. The job holder will be responsible of the correct execution of the PSM (Preservation, Storage and Maintenance) scope and the handover process within the CPI package of the project.
The job holder shall continue providing technical support to the project after delivery and during in-country activities and he/she will be based in a project office in France or in-country.
The CPI package includes the following sub-packages: SPS (Subsea Production System), Umbilicals (onshore and offshore), Subsea Distribution System, Onshore Subsea Support Modules, Onshore MEG and Chemical injection modules, Onshore and Subsea Valves.
CPI activities are performed in several locations, with main fabrication sites located in the USA, Brazil, Spain and Norway.
Total value of the CPI package: >800M$
The job holder is responsible, within the CPI and Subsea Package of the project, for the technical activities related to the PSM (Preservation, Storage and Maintenance) and Handover scope.

The job holder is responsible, within the CPI and Subsea Package of the project, for the technical activities related to the PSM (Preservation, Storage and Maintenance) and Handover scope.
As such, the job holder is responsible for:
- The review and the final acceptance of the PSM technical documentation issued by the CPI contractors
- The supervision and the coordination of the preservation, storage and maintenance activities
- The preparation of the technical scope to be performed as part of the mobilization plan before transportation of the CPI equipment to site
- The definition and finalization of the external and internal handover processes
- The support to the Logistic team in the definition and the finalization of the in-country logistic scope
- The support to the Interface team on Interfaces between CPI and other disciplines (Drilling, EPCI, Onshore, Operations, etc.)
- The job holder shall guarantee interface and engineering coordination in continuity with the previous position of technical manager.
- The job holder shall liaise permanently with other package leads and other technical engineers in order to ensure adequacy and consistency of the
- technical work performed by CPI contractors.
- The job holder shall coordinate with the inspection teams onsite to ensure that all preservation, maintenance and mobilization activities performed
- by CPI contractors are completed in a timely manner and are to the required quality level of completion for their final delivery.
- The job holder will support the drilling and the logistic team in the definition of the in-country scope, incl. transportation, SRT, storage and PLT.
- The job holder participates to the achievement of the CPI team objectives in terms of HSE, quality, costs and schedule.
Accountabilities:
- To define, develop and update, as necessary, the technical documentation related to the CPI PSM and Handover scope.
- To ensure daily liaison with CPI Contractors with regards to matters related to PSM and Handover of the CPI equipment.
- To raise consequently necessary comments and highlight unsafe design, deviations, unacceptable / unjustified design choices, potential
- quality or constructability issues.
- To supervise and control Preservation, Storage and Maintenance activities related to CPI equipment and coordinate local inspection teams.
- To be responsible of the definition of the mobilization plan and the technical acceptance of the handover documentation.
- To support the in-country team in the definition of the in-country scope, incl. transportation, SRT, storage and PLT
- To participate to weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with Contractors as appropriate.
- To interface actively with other discipline engineers and other package engineers as necessary on all engineering, procurement,
- constructability, commissioning, operability and maintainability matters, in order to ensure consistency of the work.
Qualifications/Experience required:
- Minimum 15 years in the execution phase of subsea projects and minimum 5 years in a technical coordination role.
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team, adopting a pragmatic approach to problem solving situations.
- Availability to work at site and in-country.
- Fluid communicator capable to represent the project in front of third parties and other stakeholders in a professional and organized manner.
- Fluent in English. French and Portuguese as a bonus
