NES Fircroft are working with a Tier 1 Miner to source various roles within their Fleet and Autonomy Division. We are searching for a Superintendent Mining Readiness to assist in the development and delivery of Mining Readiness scope and phase deliverables. The role will initially be based from Perth, Monday to Friday and will go FIFO from Quarter 2 2024. The roster will be 8:6 ex Perth
The Superintendent Mining Readiness will achieve project success using approved business objectives within the constraints of scope, time, quality, safety and budget. Highly motivated, with a can-do attitude and successful delivery record, the incumbent will operate effectively within functional matrix organisational structure. A team player, the Superintendent Mining Readiness will use their influencing and stakeholder engagement skills to build a high performing team and consistently deliver to their customer’s expectations.

In this role you will:
- Develop project strategies to deliver health, safety and business objectives.
- Drive implementation of project delivery plans, methodologies, systems and execution plans, including risk and quality management plans.
- Form and lead teams of project, construction and implementation specialists to deliver project outcomes safely, on schedule and on budget.
- Drive value driven decision making to ensure the project KPI’s are realised.
- Proactively manage external relationships whilst contract awarding, purchasing and/and technical evaluation of bidders.
- Implement positive communication processes to support project and operational outcomes.
- Maintain strong and transparent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
- Project Management experience, preferably via development or delivery of complex, multi-discipline projects. Experience with mobile mining equipment would be considered preferable.
- Demonstrated roles where you have been accountable for direct people leadership.
- Advanced ‘Safety Leadership’ expertise with proven commitment to safety and sustainability.
- Leading by example; fortitude to hold yourself and others accountable.
- Mature negotiation, mentoring and coaching skills that support a high performing team built on a learning mind-set.
- Experience of managing mining operations teams, ideally in an autonomous haulage setting.

To be considered, you will also need the following:
- Perth based
- A full C Class licence
- Full Australian Working Rights
- A National Police Clearance
- Able to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Test
- Two recent referees
