For our Client, global automotive company, we are currently recruiting for the position:

Supplier Quality and Development Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and responsibility for the development of subordinate employees
  • Analysis of risks related to own processes and the final product
  • Conducting internal audits
  • Monitoring the quality of supplied components and taking necessary improvement actions
  • Controlling the effectiveness of post-complaint activities at suppliers
  • Verification and analysis of current quality problems of supplied components
  • Reporting the results of analyses and action plans
  • Supplier audit management
  • Supervising the effectiveness of the development of the quality management system as part of the activities carried out
  • Evaluation of components regarding its compliance with the requirements of the Client and Company
  • Making decisions regarding the approval/rejection of components for production
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of the change management process
  • Coordinating the APQP process for components
  • Analysis and acceptance of supplier quality indicators
  • Reporting of key indicators within the organization
  • Analysis and acceptance of supplier quality indicators
  • Reporting of key indicators within the organization
  • Managing customer-specific requirements in the supply chain
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that customer requirements are met
Requirements and skills:
  • Higher technical education: mechanical engineer, production/industrial process engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the position in the quality department in the automotive industry, preferably in working with the client, experience in team management
  • Experience in managing product implementation according to the PPAP/VDA2 procedure
  • Analysis methodology according to 8D, 5Why, FMEA, FTA and related
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA standards
  • Knowledge of dealing with OEM Clients
  • Knowledge of OEM customer requirements
  • Completed IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Course
  • Confirmation of knowledge of APQP/PPAP/FMEA/VDA issues
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Excellent direct and indirect communication
  • Controlling the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Self-reliance, high commitment, focus on results and business results
  • Experience in reporting using Office
  • Knowledge of technical drawing
  • Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of a second foreign language as an advantage
  • Readiness for business travel (around 15%)
