Our client a Global Oilfields Services Organization in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join them for a permanent role.
Reports to the Region Senior Manager Supply Chain and dotted to Supply Chain Supervisor, Australia. Responsible for coordinating all procurement, shipping and logistics activities and requirements (including import, export, document preparation and submission) within the Subsea business segment.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
  •  Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain strong supplier relations.
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes (RFQ), and negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • To create and maintain Purchase Orders (PO’s) for Opex Expenditure and Capital Expenditure (Capex) in SAP.
  • Analyse invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.
  • Engagement with Logistic Suppliers and Coordination of all import & export shipments, arrangement, and preparation of required documentation.
  • Assist to evolve a long-term Supplier Quality Strategy to identify and mitigate risk within the supply base.
  • Analyse cost spend, cost savings, supplier quality performance metrics and prepare monthly statistics.
  • Develop and implement a supplier audit process and policy jointly with internal stakeholders (QHSE, Product Line & Operations).
  • Assist with third party inspection activities in supply base.
  • Ensure all supplier non-conformances are recorded, processed, and managed in a timely manner by the responsible parties.
  • Analyse supplier quality data, facilitate root cause analysis of supplier defects, develop corrective action plans with the regional/product line teams and review meetings.
  • Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk.
  • Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems.
  • Take an active part in quality improvement processes.
  • Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • 5+ years’ experience of Supply Chain Management with a global oilfield service company.
  • Preferred – Engineering graduate with supply chain exposure (procurement & logistic) in Marine or Subsea Business Segments.
  • Good knowledge of supplier’s base and exposure to BAMCO.
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is essential.
  • Background in Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • (Technical skills, behavioural competencies, specialized training or Defined Competencies as outlined in Competence & Training System)
  • Well verse and exposure in SAP system, Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point.
