Supply Chain Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and support offshore wind projects, recognizing supply chain risk and opportunity, and evaluating project viability.
• Work with the Commercial Manager/Leadership team to develop programme of activities to meet the requirements of the Supply Chain team.
• Put in place robust processes/trackers/auditing to ensure demonstratable and traceable compliance can be reported on
• Proactively identify and develop supply chain initiatives to introduce innovative alternative sources and solutions to the project.
• Provide support for the commercial/procurement aspects of tendering processes.
• Support the development of good processes/procedures for tracking and management of contracts
• Contribute to commercial risk assessment and actively contribute to risk mitigation
Desired qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of the supply chain supporting offshore wind industry
• Strong experience with diverse contracting strategy development and delivery
• Tendering Process development/management
• Contract development and negotiation
• Existing understanding of the global offshore wind market with a focus on local supply chain development and supplier partnerships.
• Experience in offshore wind development projects or supply chain businesses.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Confident negotiator with all levels of stakeholder and with experience in identifying value drivers and business development opportunities.
• Capable of effectively working as part of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve company goals.
• Comfortable and resilient to setbacks or challenges.
• Willing to travelling when needed.
