Posititon 1: 
Job Title: Surface Land Analyst  (Heavy Oil Team)
Location: Calgary, AB
Contract Length: 1 year
Start Date: June 12th

Description
  • As Surface Land Analyst you will be working within the Surface Land team you will be supporting the Heavy Oil teams.  
  • This contractor position will report to the Surface Land Manager and you will join a team of other land professionals, supporting the Surface Land portfolio
Responsibilities:
  • managing OneStop applications and renewals, requesting and completing agreements for site access, including road use, as well as working collaboratively with the area Land Agent.
  • Prepare and process of all documents required for land access for well-sites, pipelines, facilities and remediation/reclamation sites
  • Ensuring accurate management of the CS Explorer land system to assure data integrity and to comply with obligations
  • Respond to external partner queries (stakeholders, third parties, queries from Controllers)
  • Attend Heavy Oil team meetings, as required
  • Review, thoroughly understand and adhere to all Surface Land and Corporate procedures including business controls, cyber-security and all other corporate policies
  • Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications
  • 8 years+ experience as a Surface Land Analyst/administrator with a proven record working in a similar role
  • Graduation from an accredited Surface Land Program or relevant experience
  • Strong Surface Crown land experience is a necessity.
  • Possess a solid understanding of current industry policies and regulations affecting surface rights
  • Sound business judgement with effective analytical skills and a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication, organization and team skills and thrive on working in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Working or advanced level knowledge of OneStop, EDS, ETS, CS Explorer (or other land system), IHS AccuMap, SPIN, Abadata and Microsoft Office suite

Position 2: 
Job Title: Surface Land Analyst (Environmental and Property Solutions Team)
Location: Calgary
Contract Length: 1 year (potential to turn permanent)
Start Date: June 15th

Description
  • As Surface Land Analyst you will be working within the Surface Land team you will be supporting the E&PS (Environmental and Property Solutions) team as well as working collaboratively with the area Land Agent.
  • This contractor position will report to the Surface Land Manager, and you will join a team of other land professionals, supporting Imperial’s Surface Land portfolio
Responsibilities:
  • requesting and completing agreements for site access, including road use for end of life surface sites. 
  • Prepare and process of all documents required for land access for well-sites, pipelines and remediation/reclamation sites
  • Ensuring accurate management of the CS Explorer land system to assure data integrity and to comply with obligations
  • Respond to external partner queries (landowners, third parties, queries from Controllers)
  • Attend E&PS team meetings, as required
  • Review, thoroughly understand and adhere to all Surface Land and Corporate procedures including business controls, cyber-security and all other corporate policies
  • Other projects, as assigned
