Are you an experienced Survey Engineer looking for a new, exciting challenge? Do you have experience working on a range of different vessels including but not limited to MODU’s, AHV’s and FPSO’s?
If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Our client is based in Aberdeen, however this will be a full time offshore, field-based role. You will be working on a variety of Oil and Gas projects in the North Sea and worldwide, processing a variety of survey data to produce as-built charts and final reports.
We are offering this role on a permanent basis, and looking for someone to start ASAP.

Additional responsibilities:
- Producing Engineer reports for vessel mobilisations.
- Assist in development of in-house survey procedures and survey software.
- Construction of new survey equipment, bench testing of equipment and software development.
- Mobilising a variety of positioning equipment including but not limited to DGPS receivers, Gyro’s, USBL systems and IT systems.
- HNC/HND/BSC In Electronics/Electrical Engineering Discipline or relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of Electrical/Electronic systems used in an offshore/subsea environment
- Understanding Engineering drawings, processes, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Finding solutions to facilitate continuous improvement
- Experience in Vessel and ROV Mobilisations, installation of positioning and inspection sensors
- Ideally, experience in surface/subsea positioning, acoustic communications, and photogrammetry
- Offshore experience in Positioning and Inspection Sensors
