We are looking for a System Sales Engineer for one of our clients in Power Sector in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to do control systems DCS & ESD sales and marketing activity for new and existing customers. Work closely with Bahrain and Dept. managers to identify major opportunities and prepare and execute pursuit strategy. To work closely with the other cross-sectional departments like, Engineering, Service, PCI BU, Quality, Legal etc.

This position is open for Saudi Nationals only at this stage.

Job Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility to achieve the assigned order intake targets.
  • Manage or help account manager in managing relations with assigned customers and accounts.
  • Sales & Marketing Activities for Systems (DCS & Safety) which mainly include:
    • Technical Discussions with Customer & End User
    • Technical Clarifications to Customer’s Queries on Proposal
    • System Presentations (DCS & Safety Systems)
    • Interactions with Bahrain and other Affiliates for Multi EPC Projects
    • Interactions with Bahrain for Additional Support (Technical as well as Commercial)
  • Support Preparation of Techno-Commercial Proposal for Large / Mega System Projects specifically for Refinery, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas & Power Projects
  • Pro-actively work to generate and identify new business with assigned accounts.
  • Support Cost Estimation & Optimization for the projects
  • Works diligently to achieve the Sales & Marketing objectives and targets of Sales team.
  • To learn and gain knowledge of the Company’s Systems and solutions packages like PRM, ALARM Management, MIS, and other EXA packages.
  • To work as a motivated TEAM member with only positive attitude and specific focus on Sales, have open communication among the colleagues to achieve the Sales objectives.
  • To help Proposal operations in KSA and Bahrain proposals, Filing, CRM/follow-up etc.
  • To take lead in developing the technical expertise on topics like Asset, Alarm Management and MIS etc.
  • Makes proposal decisions in consultation with Dept Manager and other YMA proposal teams on the day-to-day running of the business in KSA.
  • To support for site survey for the replacement projects within KSA.
  • To attend the Sales meeting and share the market info on the accounts/issues/concern among the Sales TEAM.
  • To have quarterly meetings among Sales team on the performance and do SWOT analysis for achieving continuous improvement to meet the Sales objectives.
  •  To ensure both internal and external communications are properly titled and addressed to the concerned stakeholders for both System/PCI.

Qualification and Experience
  • BS.C in Chemical or Electrical or computer engineering or MBA with relevant experience with solutions selling or Engineering experience.
  • 3-5 years practical experience in the automation industry of solutions selling.
  • Has basic knowledge of DCS and ESD systems and able to do technical discussions.
  • Ability to understand the market requirements, business development approach, Experience in KSA is added advantage.
  • Field and site experience will be additional advantage.
  • Familiar with competitor’s products and Company’s solutions.
  • Willing to learn and understand the multinational work environment.
